The University of Scranton is a Jesuit university located in Pennsylvania. Since 1888 they have offed discerning students an education in the Catholic tradition. Required courses include Educational Research and Statistics, Advanced Educational Psychology, Advanced Foundations in Education, Curriculum Theories and Development, Literacy and Diversity, Improving Instruction, Computer Literacy for Educators, Group Processes in the Classroom, Teaching the Gifted Child, Educational Tests and Measurements, Reading and Language Arts in Content Areas, and Inclusionary Classroom Practices.
The Educational Administration Masters requires thirty nine courses. They include Educational Research and Statistics, Advanced Educational Psychology, Advanced Foundations of Education, Curriculum Theories and Development, Literacy and Diversity, Educational Administration, Problems in School Administration and Supervision, School Finance, School Law, Principal as Administrator, Principles and Practices of Supervision, Practicum in Elementary School Administration or Practicum in Secondary School Administration.
Upon graduating from the University of Scranton in one of these Master's programs, subtends can go on to work in the school districts of their choices as highly qualified administrators or teachers.
