You get to decide where to focus your attention.

It's a very exciting field to be in. The Information Technology degree can be earned as an Associate, Bachelor, or Master level degree. You can also take courses towards a specific diploma, say in online gaming design, or a certificate program, say in coding.
The Information Technology program is one that opens the most doors for you career-wise. Because it covers so many different areas of computers, you will have a solid base of knowledge when you graduate. Other degrees specialize more intensely on one or two areas in computers, but the IT person knows a lot about everything.
Study for your degree entirely online and you will find that you don't even have to disrupt your life. Keep your current job while you focus on your studies during your free time.
