What is Applied Behavioral Science? It is a division of health science that takes your knowledge of human behavior and applies it to direct patient care. You will learn hands-on skills to work with people in programs that assist those in need.
Some of the career choices you might make with a degree in Applied Behavioral Science include social services aid, case manager, residential counselor, mental health worker, welfare case manager, Medicaid specialist, job coach, child abuse investigator or community outreach worker.
There are so many job titles within the Applied Behavioral Science realm. Your skills in people and project management will be welcomed in many different sectors. You may join a government program or go into the private sector. You will have many areas to choose from.
It will be a plus if you are bilingual as you will be working with many people to which English is a foreign language.
